Take a Virtual Tour of the Aria on L

Recently, we had the opportunity to create a virtual tour for the Aria on L, a great new apartment building in the transformed NoMa neighborhood of Washington DC. The Aria has a Walk Score of 85 and is just two blocks from the Noma/Gallaudet Metro Station.

Besides having a wonderful location and cool décor, the Aria has great amenities, ranging from underground parking to a penthouse community room. In the morning residents can stop by the hospitality room off the lobby to catch the news and drink coffee. In the evening, they can wind down, with wine (from their personal wine locker!) while enjoying the city views and sunset from the rooftop community room.

On the upper left side of the large main image, just below the arrow diagram, you will notice #1 and #2. Toggle back and forth to view the tour on both the main level and the upper level.

Google Virtual Tour of Charles Luck Stone

The virtual tour below is the first tour that was sponsored by Paradigm Building Group, a custom home and commercial building company in Northern Virginia.  (They also sponsored the virtual tour of Trummer’s On Main that was published in March.)  This virtual tour was created out of 144 photographs in a beautiful building the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C.

As I was making the virtual tour, they showed me some old beer bottles that were discovered during the renovation that date back to when the building was used as a brewery.

Both Paradigm Building Group and Charles Luck Stone were featured in this story in the Georgetown Patch after this virtual tour was published.

Google Virtual Tour of Trummer’s On Main in Clifton, Virginia

Here is the second virtual tour that I created that was sponsored by Paradigm Building Group, a custom home and commercial building company based in Fairfax, Virginia.  You can now explore the historic Trummer’s On Main restaurant and bar in Clifton, Virginia, on Google Maps or embedded below.

I created this virtual tour out of 300 photographs, and covered their awesome climate controlled wine cellar, the beautiful bar, a private dining room, and finally the main dining area of Trummer’s on Main on the upper floor.

It feels good to have helped document a historic building like Trummer’s, where Presidents Teddy Roosevelt and Rutherford B. Hayes once stayed (back when it was a hotel), and where George Washington once hunted on the grounds.

Google Business Photos: Explore The Looking Glass in West Virginia

This virtual tour took me 215 miles away to Morgantown, West Virginia, to photograph the beautiful Looking Glass Eyewear Boutique.  (This project started off on the right foot, because after I decided to rent a car for the trip, Avis decided to upgrade me to a BMW X5 for the same price as my Toyota Camry.)

With $8.1 billion in revenue, Hilton Worldwide is by far my largest client :) and I was glad to find out that they liked the tour. Google Virtual Tour of Spinnakr in DC

Google Trusted Photographer CertificationIt shouldn’t be any surprise that Spinnakr has awesome offices.  They are a great startup, and I’m hoping to use their technology to optimize results for some of my AdWords and SEO clients over at Will Marlow, LLC, where I do most of my advanced digital consulting. (Spinnakr’s software helps people customize their websites based on the “referral source” of the traffic — this might only be interesting to people who are obsessed with internet marketing, but if you care about marketing, it’s pretty cool.

Either way, Spinnakr is a hot startup in the DC area, and has great offices in Dupont Circle, which you can now tour using the virtual tour below, which I created out of 180 high resolution photographs.

I was just in France in July, and this bistro was the first place I visited when I came back. I was there with my wife, and one of our good friends from the Reston Chamber of Commerce.
